ForMyTesla Travel Sleeper

Thick self-inflating foam and air at a low sale price, with no published warranty, length or width.

The verdict

The ForMyTesla Travel Sleeper is a self-inflating mattress that combines open-cell foam and air, 5 in (12.7 cm) thick, with an included cordless, rechargeable pump for adjusting firmness and deflating. It costs $149 on sale (was $325) or €133.95, which is low for a foam-and-air bed of this thickness. The catch is what ForMyTesla leaves out: no published warranty, no length or width, no readable owner reviews, and no returns on sale items outside the EU.

Who it's for

You'll love it if you have a Model Y, want a thicker foam-and-air bed than most budget options, and can treat the purchase as final.

Look elsewhere if you need a published warranty, exact dimensions or, outside the EU, the option to return it. The page gives no model years and says nothing about the Juniper. ForMyTesla says the bed is custom-designed for the Model Y, and it also claims a "near perfect fit" in the Model 3, S and X, so it is one shape sold for four models.

What you'll notice

Foam and air together

ForMyTesla describes open-cell foam with air holes under a moisture-resistant cover, with a thick rubber bottom layer. It self-inflates to 5 inches in about 3 minutes, and the pump deflates it in about 5. In ForMyTesla's photos the pump is a separate unit, not built into the mattress. ForMyTesla does not say whether the foam sits inside the air chamber.

Weight and storage

It weighs 16 lb (about 7.3 kg) and comes with a storage bag that ForMyTesla says fits the frunk or sub-trunk. ForMyTesla says it sleeps two.

What to watch for

Missing basics

ForMyTesla publishes no warranty and no length or width, only the thickness, so the fit cannot be checked against your car before buying. The shipping policy page is empty, and the product page makes no claim about the seat-fold slope.

Sale items are final

ForMyTesla's refund policy says sale items cannot be returned, which covers this mattress at $149. EU buyers keep a 14-day cooling-off right under the same policy. Items bought at full price can go back unopened within 30 days, minus the return label and up to 15% restocking for a change of mind.

What owners report

The page shows a 4.8 out of 5 badge with no review count and no reviews to read. ForMyTesla has no Trustpilot page, and the review articles that turn up are on ForMyTesla's own blog.

The bottom line

At $149 the Travel Sleeper offers a thick foam-and-air build for the Model Y at a low price. What it does not offer is paperwork: no published warranty, no stated length or width, and no returns at the sale price outside the EU. ForMyTesla publishes no discount code. Prices checked 1 October 2026.
